Weekend
This weekend I'm going to a race with my daddy! I'm really excited. And I get to miss one whole day of school! :) This one is actually in California this time, not AZ, so that's a change. I hope we do well in this race and I really hope we don't break down. My dad has been working really hard to prep the car and stuff so I hope "Rico" doesn't let us down. I'm planning on taking lots of pictures, so I'll post them when we get back. Wish us luck!

25 Random Things About Me
I got this tag on Facebook, and I posted it on there, but since I have nothing else to write about, I figured I would share it with my blog too. I had to come up with 25 things about me and I actually had fun with this one.
1. I was born on July 5, 1995. The day after Independence Day.
2. I'm one of the only blondes in my school. But, I love being blonde! :)
3. My latest obsession is Facebook.
4. I love the band Boys Like Girls.
5. My biggest pet peeve is when my brother Connor uses my shampoo and conditioner.
6. I like writing poetry to express my feelings.
7. I LOVE buying/being given shoes--especially heels.
8. I hate it when people spell wrong or don't make sense in texts. It drives me CRAZY! I'm such a nerd. . . I punctuate my texts! :)
9. I got 1st place in the school spelling bee this year. The winning word was enamel. So difficult, huh? :)
10. I hate being crowded. Especially in my room. I also don't like clutters of junk . . . maybe that's why I don't ever use my desk.
11. I always have my fan on in my room. Even if I'm cold. I have to have it blowing on me when I'm in bed or else I can't fall asleep.
12. I love singing trills. (That's where one word has a bunch of notes that go all over the place!) I just think they sound way cool if you can hit all the notes right.
13. I like guys that can make me laugh.
14. I want to be an Elementary School teacher when I grow up. I love kids and I love teaching.
15. I like writing research papers . . . I'm not sure why I like it so much but I guess I'm just a nerd like that. :)
16. I hate it when people criticize something I'm doing or something I've done--especially when they try to be polite about it. I also don't like it when people lie to me . . . So I guess those two kind of coincide. . .
17. I'm left handed.
18. My favorite colors to wear are lavender {purple} and yellow (not together though).
19. I think I'm easy to be friends with. I listen more than I talk but I say what I need to say when it needs to be said.
20. If I don't have anything to say, I won't say anything or try to make a conversation. I think that's why I seem quiet a lot of times.
21. I get hyper off of Jolly Ranchers! (KATIE!! haha:) )
22. I don't normally have a lot of best friends but the ones I do have, I'm best friends with for a while.
23. I hate taking color pictures of myself. Generally, if they aren't black & white or sepia, I won't like them.
24. I'm semi-lactose intolerant. Milk gives me huge stomach aches but I love milk so I usually always have a stomach ache. My fault, I guess.
25. I'm not one to argue and I don't argue well. Usually in a fight, I'm the one apologizing first just so the fight will be over. But I can admit when I'm wrong and when I need to change something.
I also felt an urge to post about my top 10 favorite songs. :) Maybe now I can actually figure out my top 10 . . . there's so many good songs! It's hard to narrow it down. Just for the record, these aren't in order. . .
