We're in Utah right now!! The ride felt like it was so much longer than it normally is!! We left Casa Grande at 10:04 and we got to St. George (which is only 3/4 of the way there) at 8:30! We slept at my great-grandma's house and we left at around 9:00 in the morning. We got to Clinton (the place we needed to be at) at about 6:00!! I was soooo fed up with driving by then! I had a sleepover with my friend Jamie last night and it was way fun! Today is my "cousins" baby blessing and I get to wear my new dress and boots!!

We're leaving for Utah on the 27th!!!! I'm soooo excited to see my family up there!! Katie left this morning and I didn't tell her goodbye :(. She went to California for Christmas. I went to go see National Treasure II Book of Secrets last night with her and her friend Lexie. It was so good! This one was more about Abraham Lincoln and the end of the civil war, and Mount Rushmore and things like that.
Katie is one of those friends who will always care.
She's known to always smile, love, and share.
Even when she's down she tries her best to make your day,
Though she can be rough when she doesn't get her way! :D (JK, but It rhymed!)
She gives the best advice to all,
she's always on the ball.
She gets A's in all her classes,
Can't get enough designer glasses.

She's up to date with all the facts.
She has enough clothes to dress a mob,
It's against her standards to cheat or rob.

I'm at school. . .
I'm in Computers class right now at school. I don't know if I'm supposed to or not, but I'm just waiting for my partner to finish a project that we were doing. Next block, we have an assembly and Katie is playing in band for it! It's gonna be fun! I love pep assemblies. This week is spirit week and it is school colors day today. This morning Katie's brother gave me a bracelet (as my Christmas present) and it is soooo pretty! But I feel bad because he used the money that he was supposed to use to buy Katie a present. So I feel bad. But I have to go! Bye!!

Today was good. This morning, I slept late and didn't know GALS was leaving to go Christmas caroling at 9:30, so I missed that :(. We went to zoo lights last night for my dad's work party and ate a nice dinner at a hotel that was reserved for us. It was fun. We got to hang out with some friends that we hadn't seen for a while, and we 'caught up'. We went to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks in our new theater today. It was funny and cute. Mason loved it! School's going fine. I've been in kind of a gloomy mood lately, and it doesn't help that it's almost the end of the semester and almost Christmas!! I'm trying to get my grades up so I can have all A's, like in my other report cards. I'm also stressing out because I worried that I won't get all of my Christmas presents for my friends and family made/bought in time. But oh well. I'm gonna get them done, I can feel it! ;}.

OH! And I saw these REALLY cute shoes at Dillards that I really want! They look like you can get them anywhere but I really want them! They are just silver ballet flats with a bow on the top of them. My friend. . .
The past few days have been better. I've been biting my fingernails in anxiety (not literally) for the telling of my consequence for my referral. During 4th block I got a note that said I was supposed to go to the Assistant Principal's Office. I knew INSTANTLY what it was for. With my stomach churning, I walked slowly to her office. I stood outside her office feeling so out of place. People kept giving me looks of surprise because they knew I didn't belong there. Finally, I was called into her office. It kind of felt like I was about to be hanged (lol!)! I was nervous enough! The Assistant Principal (Mrs. Morgan) was MUCH nicer than I had anticipated. She discussed my situation calmly, making little jokes in between to lighten the mood. She said, "I'm all about giving people second chances." A beacon of light had been lit. A light of hope! She had me sign my referral and she told my my punishment. She told me it was just a WARNING! All I had to do was bring my other two previous I.D.'s in to her office the next morning and she would let me free!! I was SOO relieved! Mrs. Morgan is OFFICIALLY my FAVORITE Assistant Principal!!
Well, on IM today, me and a friend got in an argument. She said that she hadn't completely forgotten about a mistake that I made a month previous. After a very emotional discussion (with me in tears) she stated that she wasn't mad at me and that she forgave me, but she couldn't forget. She pointed out she didn't think I cared about her enough to miss something important to me for something that meant a lot to her. That hit me hard. I was literally speechless. After that, it seemed like nothing I said to her would convince her that she means the world to me! But I want this friend to know, that I'm trying my hardest to cover the black tracks and rewrite them in white. She needs to know that I love her soooo much and I want our friendship to be full, with no secrets or secret grudges. She needs to know that I'm so sorry for what I did and she needs to forgive and try to forget. I'm not asking for her to forget entirely, but there's nothing I can do about the past. We need to live in the present and put our mistakes behind us and put our trust, friendship, and love in front of us. We HAVE to do that. I need her to know that I understand that she is upset, but I'm trying SOOO hard to make things right. But in order to make things right, I need her to help me. I need her to know that she is my best friend and I'm always going to be there for her. And if she wants me to be there more, she needs to tell me that. She needs to know that I can't read minds, but I'm trying to read the signs. I need her help to strengthen this friendship. I hope she understands this and I hope she feels the same way I do.

Worst Day!!!
Today has been probably one of the worst days of my life! Heres SOME of the things that happened to me today:
1. I slept late
2. I got to Katie's house late
3. I got a referral for forgetting my I.D. 3 times and I'll probably get either ISS (in school suspension) or ASD (after school detention) (THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY, considering I've never really gotten in trouble in school in my LIFE)
4. It was an A DAY IN GENERAL!!
5. I had P.E. today and we had to run extra
6. We had to run the mile (but I'm proud of myself cuz I did it in 14 minutes and 14 seconds. That's the fastest I've gone before)
7. I'm tired
8. I don't feel the best
9. It's RAINING and its COLD
10. When I was opening my locker in P.E. my lock (which is heavy) fell on my toe.
SHALL I CONTINUE??? My day has been HORRIBLE. I'm still hoping for it to get better! At least I'm not having a bad hair day! My hair actually did what I wanted it to today. I hope my day will get better!!!!!

So....
My dad is setting up Christmas lights on our house. So far, they look good! I'm not quite sure if I like Jacob anymore. . . Katie thinks that he likes her so, why waste my energy? He's still cute and nice, but he's not the same as he was when I first liked him. But the problem is, there's not any more like able "white" guys at our school that haven't turned wacko. :} I probably still will like Jacob always but probably not as much as I used to. Oh well. . . . Advice???

Thanksgiving
I love Thanksgiving! For one, it gives you a good excuse to stuff yourself and eat a lot. And second, it definitely makes you realize what you are thankful for. So here's some things that I'm thankful for:
1. I'm thankful for my family who love and support me.
2. I'm thankful for all of my good friends. They help me get through tough times and are always here to catch me when I fall.
3. I'm thankful for my church and God. Without them, I don't know where I'd be right now. It's a great feeling to be a part of such a wonderful religion and be part of God's great plan.
4. I'm thankful for the beautiful house that I live in. It protects me and gives me a place of comfort and peace when I need it.
5. I'm thankful for my education. I love learning new things, and I'm grateful that I have the ability to get a good education and learn new things.
6. I'm grateful for this country. I love this country and it means a lot to me that people fought for my freedom and happiness.
7. I'm grateful for my health. I'm so thankful that I am healthy and able to do the things that I need to.
8. I'm grateful that as a family, we have enough money for things that we need. Money is not the key to happiness, and that is why this is at the bottom of my list.
These are just some of the many things that I'm thankful for. Thanksgiving is a great holiday. Although we won't get to celebrate with our WHOLE family like we usually do, change is good. We're still going to have a good time with each other.

Today
Today my mom checked me out early from school to babysit some kids. I babysat:
Morgan - age 6
Mason - age 4
Torie - age 2
David - age 1
Hailey - age 7
Grant - age 7
I'll show you the relations:
Morgan and Mason are my sister and brother (Morgan is my sister, Mason is my brother)
Torie and Hailey are sisters (they are both girls)
Grant and David are brothers (they are both boys)
Torie and David are soooo cute! So, while Grant and Hailey were eating their popcorn they started arguing over who was cutest: Torie or David. Of course, each voted for their own siblings so they tell me to decide who is cuter. I said both because I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings! Decide for yourself who is cuter!
Torie: she is ALWAYS smiling! Her laugh is sooo cute! She has the prettiest blue eyes and really white skin! When she laughs she sticks her tongue out. She loves to cuddle and she loves to be held and cuddled with.
David: he has red hair and blue eyes. They are the same color as Torie's but he has really small pupils, so they look lighter. He's just learned how to walk, so he waddles. When we were jumping on the trampoline, he liked to walk really close to the edge. When I yelled at him because he almost fell off, he would have the biggest smile on his face. He was doing it just for my reaction. It was cute, but I got frustrated because he nearly fell off onto the rocks! lol

Today is Sunday. I have finally decided what I'm going to get my friends and family for Christmas, but I won't say because they might see it (KATIE!) lol. I think it's an awesome idea. I have about $85 saved up, so hopefully that will be enough to get everything I need to. I'm not quite sure what I want for Christmas, but I NEED a new backpack. I really like those Jansport backpacks but my mom laughs every time I ask her to get me one. They're pretty expensive, for a backpack.
I made a list and I think it looks something like this:
- Cell phone [my mom laughed and said, 'yeah right' but I still want one!]
- Those packet things for my FLY pen
- Gameboy ADVANCE games
- computer games
- Books (Mary Higgins Clark, Stephenie Myer [She won't have a book out by Christmas, but I can still wish, right?], Jack Weyland, Anita Stansfield, or Lisi Harrison.
- Camera (one of those cheap mini digital ones that you can buy at like Wal-Mart)
-Hairspray [movie, the newer version on DVD], High School Musical 2
-Ipod [once again, she laughed, but a girl can dream!]
Well, that's about it. . . .

Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
soooo..... today was purty boring. Halloween was yesterday. I dressed up as a pirate! Arrgh!! My mom's friend painted my face and I bought accessories and stuff. It was way cool. I went trick-or-treating with Katie. I didn't get that much candy, Morgan got the most! It's because I only went around to all the cars once at the trunk-or-treat and we only went to, like, 5 houses. So.... my candy will probably only last me a couple of weeks. Unless my mom throws it away, of course. Oh and my first BYC meeting was last Sunday. It was pretty cool. I got to interact with all of the people and I got an idea of what I'm supposed to prepare for for next time. It was... interesting to be with my dad there. But he was a big help and he walked me through step by step what I should be doing. So yeah. It was cool. Yep, yep, yep. . . I still haven't asked Ben and Jacob to be in my photo shoot yet . . . grrrrrrrrr

Fighting Flames
Hey my day was pretty boring. My parents still aren't home but they'll be home in about 2 hours. So that's good. Last night was o.k. I wasn't the most fun I've ever had, but it was fun. I started on making another hat, and I'm giving it to my neighbor's daughter named Torie. She's so cute! I'm working on my story right now. It's called Fighting Flames. I think it's the best book I've ever written and it's the longest book I've ever written. So far, it is 43 pages long, and it's only 1/2 way done! I'm hoping I can get 100 pages written, but that's a little far fetched, right? Here's the first page:
Chapter One
I ran through the front room, passing everything that had once mattered in my life. But they don’t matter now. My heart raced. I tried to escape the deadly beast that was devouring the house with each burning touch. Through the kitchen I ran. I stumbled to my knees. I blindly looked at what I had tripped over. A body! It was hard to move, hard to breathe. I turned the body over, my hands trembling. My heart stopped. The face of my father was staring up at me. “NO!” I screamed. I was too late. I called his name over and over, knowing that it wouldn’t do anything. Nothing I did could bring him back to life. His face was soot black, with burns that no one would ever see. The beast drew in around me, licking me with its fiery tongue, mocking my fear. “You lost!” it cackled.
“Dad, wake up! You have to make it. Dad please . . . please.” I cried helplessly. It was no use. It was the end. The beast was rearing up, adding the fear and pain with each second. It pounced. I hugged my dad for the last time then . . .
“Matt . . . MATTHEW PETERSON!”
Matt raised his head from the desk. He gave a sigh of relief.
“It was only a dream,” he whispered. The other students were staring at him. Some looked worried, some amused. The bell rang for the end of class. His head was wet with sweat and his clothes clung to his skin.
“Matt,” the teacher said, “this is the second time this week that you’ve fallen asleep in class. One more time and I’ll call your father telling him you need more sleep!”
“Whatever,” he said calmly. The truth was, he got plenty of sleep at night. He tried to make it in bed by 9:30 and he woke up every day at 6:50. He didn’t exactly know what his deal was.

Boring
My day was really boring. My parents went up to Sedona and won't be back until Thursday. I'm spending the night at my neighbors house. I'm missing the stake dance right now. I couldn't find my dance card so I'm going to my Beehive leader's house. She invited us to play games and stuff instead of the dance. I really wanted to go to the dance. This is only my 2nd dance and I'm MISSING it! :(
Well, I'm the new Beehive president. I'm pretty excited but I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do. I still have yet to choose my 1st and 2nd counselors and secretary. My dad's the young men's president so I get to go with him to BYC meetings and stuff.

Morning: I hung out with Jacob and Caitlin (Mrs. Lewis's daughter) asked him out again (for 2nd time). I did the announcements over the intercom
Homeroom: NO HOMEROOM EARLY RELEASE
Language Arts: Today we went through everyone's pages and put check marks on charts that have the criteria on it. When we come back from break, we are going to vote. We get to vote for 6 animals that we want in our zoo. I think I'm gonna vote for the skunk, coyote, javelina, ferret, porcupine, and the gray wolf. :). Yep, yep. Ben wasn't here today, he's sick.
Pre-Algebra: We did more stuff on coordinates and it was super boring and super easy. We had to plot coordinates on a grid to make a pumpkin. You are so lucky you weren't there!
Lunch: We had cheeseburger twins today and they didn't have any salad!! So I didn't have anything to eat except ice cream. I listened to my new CD player (courtesy of you :) ) with Marisa. the bell rang and I walked with Jacob until I was almost to Ms. Lambert's room. But he was like, "Isn't it early release?" and I was like, "yeah" and he was like "Then where are you going?". I was so embarassed!! I was going the wrong direction!! I was supposed to go to PE but I was following him to go to the band room! I was so embarrassed!!
ELECTIVES: I have no idea what went on in Band for you, sorry.
Science: We watched a Bill Nye video and Jacob was sitting on a chair in the middle of the room next to me and Marisa (we were sitting on the ground). Caitlin (the one :)) wiggles her way in between me and Jacob (we were a fair distance apart but we were still sitting next to eachother) !!! I was like "hello??!" but I didn't say that, I just gave her dirty looks when she wasn't looking! :) they work like a charm. And she was totally flirting with him the whole time!! I was about ready to wring her neck!! (not really, but GRRRRRR... she's got a boyfriend!!!)
After school: I was walking with Jacob and I said, "Man, two Caitlins like you!" and he's like (coincidentally Caitlin Lewis walks by) "Well, I know that Caitlin does, but who's the other one?" Morning: I hung out with Jacob and Caitlin (Mrs. Lewis's daughter) asked him out again (for 2nd time). I did the announcements over the intercom

Language Arts: Today we went through everyone's pages and put check marks on charts that have the criteria on it. When we come back from break, we are going to vote. We get to vote for 6 animals that we want in our zoo. I think I'm gonna vote for the skunk, coyote, javelina, ferret, porcupine, and the gray wolf. :). Yep, yep. Ben wasn't here today, he's sick.
Pre-Algebra: We did more stuff on coordinates and it was super boring and super easy. We had to plot coordinates on a grid to make a pumpkin. You are so lucky you weren't there!
Lunch: We had cheeseburger twins today and they didn't have any salad!! So I didn't have anything to eat except ice cream. I listened to my new CD player (courtesy of you :) ) with Marisa. the bell rang and I walked with Jacob until I was almost to Ms. Lambert's room. But he was like, "Isn't it early release?" and I was like, "yeah" and he was like "Then where are you going?". I was so embarassed!! I was going the wrong direction!! I was supposed to go to PE but I was following him to go to the band room! I was so embarrassed!!
ELECTIVES: I have no idea what went on in Band for you, sorry.
Science: We watched a Bill Nye video and Jacob was sitting on a chair in the middle of the room next to me and Marisa (we were sitting on the ground). Caitlin (the one :)) wiggles her way in between me and Jacob (we were a fair distance apart but we were still sitting next to eachother) !!! I was like "hello??!" but I didn't say that, I just gave her dirty looks when she wasn't looking! :) they work like a charm. And she was totally flirting with him the whole time!! I was about ready to wring her neck!! (not really, but GRRRRRR... she's got a boyfriend!!!)
After school: I was walking with Jacob and I said, "Man, two Caitlins like you!" and he's like (coincidentally Caitlin Lewis walks by) "Well, I know that Caitlin does, but who's the other one?" Language Arts: We finished our reports and went over our criteria, we are voting tomorrow. Everyone just wants the porcupine cuz its so cute. :(
Pre-Al: We practiced "coordinate grids" it was really easy. She had us plot points on a grid in front of the class and then do book work. Of course. But it only took like 10 minutes for me (so that would be like, 5 minutes for you!!).
Lunch: We had Spicy Chicken sandwiches (the bar wasn't open, ugh!) and Ben only collected 3 of them this time (well, he bought 2 and someone gave him 1). I sat by Marisa, Steven, and Lexie (you know, I don't think Lexie likes me very much.). After I ate I went outside and hung out with the "gang". I was just messing around (and since you were gone, I was kinda lonely) and I said, "I need a new [temporary] best friend since Katie's not here," (I was just messing around). So Ben says, "I'll be your best friend." He gave me a hug and Jacob kinda glares at him! I felt so bad!!! I was going to give Jacob one too but he started to talk to Carissa (who was standing next to us!)
Electives: You would've had PE, I have no idea what you would've done though.
Science: PEP ASSEMBLY!!!! As our class was walking in, Ms. Bina randomly picked people to help Mr. QSP to do the Deal or no Deal thing for the top winners, and she picked me and Marisa to help hold the cases!!! It was so cool!! There was like 18 other kids up there with us! It was awesome! Josh had the $100 in his case first (then we switched them around), then Marisa had the $100 in her case (then we switched them up again), and lastly I had it in my case. Julianna Tapia was the top seller so she played last and she picked my case to be "her case" and it had the $100 in it. But at the end, she took a deal for like $20! I felt so bad!! The 8th graders won all three spirit sticks. (MAN, you've missed 2/4 pep assemblies!) Oh and the mascot that student council picked and bought got here today so someone [I think it was Mrs. Wagoner] wore it and was the mascot! It was fun. You miss all the good ones!
After school: I had to stay after school until 5:00 for Student Council to escort parents for Parent Teacher Conference. It was really boring. The only other people that I knew [that helped me] were Carissa, Steven, Hunter, Josh, and the 7th grade teachers!!!! It was super boring!! I hope I don't have to do that tomorrow! Ooooh. But I found out that Hunter never really liked (as in loved) Carissa and he admitted in front of her, and he also said in front of her that he likes Marisa! He was such a jerk to Carissa yesterday! I think she should dump him!!

Today we had to take a writing benchmark. It was pretty easy, but I didn't like the prompt. We had to write about an "influential" television show. I just made one up, since I don't know very many "influential" TV shows. In language arts we started this new project its called Wiki Wetpaint. It's awesome. It's just for people in our class though. What we're doing is we're researching an animal and then we're going to pick which one of the animals we want to put in our "zoo". It's pretty awesome. We can send messages to people in our class, so we were all sending messages to people! It was fun! Other than that school was purty boring!

Concert
Last night Katie, Lexie, and me went to the Phooson concert and saw artists like Enrique Iglesias , The Jonas Brothers, Fabolous, Kat Deluna, Paula Deanda. We had to stand for over 7 hours, and we had to wait like the whole time just to see the Jonas Brothers, but when they came on it was totally worth it!! NICK IS HOTTTTTT!!! So is Joe, but I like Nick better. :D We got back at like 12 midnight, but it was cool. Ya there was this drunk guy and he fell on a bunch of people and spit beer at Katie. It was kinda freaky. That's the first time I've ever seen a drunk guy before!! But eventually the Event Managers took him away. :D It was awesome. When I got home I was so tired. I laid down on my bed just anticipating to be there for a few minutes before I got ready for bed. But I fell asleep in my clothes, with my makeup on, and with my light on! But can you blame me?? LOL!!

IDK my BFF Jill!
Today was good. I don't feel so good though. I had to babysit today but only for about 3 hours. My mom had to go to scouts with my other brother so I watched my bro and sister and my neighbors little boy. He went right to sleep and my bro and sister played with themselves! i got some good reading time. School is boring!!! I like language arts though and I like Social Studies, but Pre-Algebra sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring!!! Don't you agree Katie and Marisa?? I just saw one of those commercials where the mom is talking to the girl and one of them the mom says "who have you been texting?" and she says "IDK my BFF Jill" well in this one it goes like this:

KAYLA: NW RUS? (Now way are you serious?)
MOM: That wasn't a compliment (there's a brother in this one lets say his name is Ben) And Ben 1000??

School was pretty good. We did boring stuff as usual. In Language Arts were watching the Phantom of the Opera. I love that movie! My LA teacher is awesome! She lets us do whatever we want, practically! I have finally decided what I'm going to be for Halloween!! I'm going to be a vampire! :} Vampires rock! lol . I've never been anything scary for Halloween! Last year I was a cheerleader and the same the year before that. Ya I'm pretty boring! I have a new favorite book series!!! It's called the Twilight Series!! THEY ARE SOOOOOOO GOOD!! The first one is Twilight, the second one is New moon, and the third one is Eclipse. They are sooo good! They are by Stephanie Myer. She's an amazing author! I'm pretty sure she's LDS but I'm not positive. I might be wrong! The books are about a girl named Bella who falls in love with a vampire. I know it sounds cheesy and dumb, but you can't love it [or hate it] till you try it! I watched conference yesterday and I loved it!! I watched all four sessions and I think they are awesome!! I was happy when Henry B. Eyring got appointed (is that the right word???) to be in the presidency!! That's cool!! Well I've got to go!! See ya!!
